Corporate Pilates
Pilates for people who sit all day at a desk.
The corporate Pilates sessions aim to help relieve tired and tight shoulders, strengthen sore and stiff backs and to sculpt and tone in a whole body workout.
Studies have proven the benefits of wellness programs such as Pilates in the workplace, assist in the management of stress, maintaining employee health and improving work performance. Improved posture and body awareness gained through Pilates can help to prevent work related injuries.
The two main causes of workplace absenteeism are muscular-skeletal problems (mostly back and neck related) and stress. Pilates improves flexibility and posture, strengthens the core and helps to correctly align the body. Not only does Pilates reduce the risk of injury, it’s also effective against back pain and postural problems.
The Pilates sessions can be held in your workplace during business hours, all you need is a space large enough to accommodate your group. Ideally, the sessions should run for a minimum of 6 weeks to allow the participants to learn the Pilates principles and set foundations that can be built on as the weeks progress.
